STRANGE MAINE: SACRED AND PROFANE

The Sacred and Profane happens every fall on Peaks Island. 
After a parade from the landing to Battery Steele, people wander the 
dark, damp, ghost echoed halls of the abandoned war bunker to see what
people made of the rooms this year. Free food and bonfire included... 
Last year Portland's Ocean played. This year I got a ride out on Trine's 
friend's boat/home but took the late ferry back to town. 





























Oh I'd rather go and journey where the diamond crest is flowing and
run across the valley beneath the sacred mountain and
wander through the forest 
where the trees have leaves of prisms and break the light in colors
that no one knows the names of
