Dutch Harbor is a port on Unalaska in the Aleutians where quite a few Bering Sea fisheries are based including king crabbing (red and brown), opilio crabbing, pacific cod fishing with pots and longlines, and trawl fishing. The Winter conditions can be ferocious as some of your awesome pics depict, and the Summer conditions are sometimes no better. One thing is for sure... when you are standing on deck in the middle of a tempest you feel very much ALIVE!
